Integrative Therapies Application

The mission of Lucy’s Love Bus is to deliver comfort to children with cancer and children coping with late effects of cancer treatment. Our primary concern is your child’s quality of life during treatment and beyond. We believe that integrative therapies can help offset the rigors of traditional cancer treatment by gently supporting the child’s emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.

Lucy’s Love Bus pays up to $1000 for any integrative therapy that your child would like to use to supplement his or her traditional cancer treatment. Covered therapies include, but are not limited to: therapeutic massage, acupuncture, acupressure, therapeutic horseback riding, Reiki, Tai Chi, Yoga, Music and Movement, and Craniosacral therapy.

If your child (age 21 and under), or a child in your care is going through cancer treatment, or experiencing late effects of prior cancer treatment, and you are interested in exploring the benefits of integrative therapies, please complete this application.  We will need a prescription or note from your child's doctor stating that your child may participate in the specific integrative therapies that your child would like to recieve, along with a list of any contraindications.
